RepoToResume is a web-based platform that connects to your GitHub account, analyzes your public repositories using AI, and generates professional, ATS-optimized resumes. The Service includes resume creation, editing, PDF export, ATS scanning, and job description matching features.
3. User Accounts
- You must authenticate via GitHub OAuth to use the Service
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service
- One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the generated content to misrepresent your qualifications or experience
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create using the Service, including your resumes, personal information, and any text you input or edit. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
Our Service
The Service itself, including its design, code, AI models, templates, and branding, is the intellectual property of RepoToResume. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
6. AI-Generated Content
Resume bullet points and content suggestions generated by our AI are provided as recommendations. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated content before using it in job applications. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Free Plan & Pricing
The Service currently offers a free plan. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, change pricing, or modify the free plan at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before any changes that materially affect your use of the Service.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from using the Service, including job interviews, offers, or ATS pass rates.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RepoToResume and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
